The key components of this auditive media facade are the sound pixels, or Soxels, a scalable array of speakers, and a feed-in point for streaming an endless number of audio channels to provide each speaker with an individual sound stream.
Collaboration with Felix H. Beck

I am an engineer and artist. My work focuses on interactive objects and installations that cross over electronics, media elements, and artifacts from the non-digital world to achieve new forms of aesthetic experience. I've been active in the techno-art scene for several years now, two of which I spent as a researcher at the MIT Media Lab in Cambridge/USA. My work was shown in galleries such as Location One (NYC), Exit Art (NYC) and the Gandhi Museum (New Delhi), and at major festivals, including transmediale (Berlin), Sonar (Barcelona), and Ars Electronica Center (Linz). I hope you like what you see, and if you do, please don’t hesitate to get in touch.
